These often help resolve issues without the need to contact support. If a troubleshooter is available for your issue, select Start to run that troubleshooter.

Perform a quick repair via “Programs and Features” to optimize performance. If apps remain sluggish, reinstall your Microsoft 365 suite. Larger files may cause a temporary slowdown, so ensure your device has adequate Microsoft Outlook troubleshooting memory.

Recover your account
Run the Activation Troubleshooter, accessible online or via your app settings. Verify your device is connected to the internet and your payment details are current for renewal. Remove and re-add your Office account within the app for reconnection. Contact your system administrator to find out if you are behind a proxy or firewall that is blocking this process. If so, you will also need to temporarily disable your proxy or firewall connection.
- If you’re still stuck, reboot your computer and try the installation again, preferably during off-peak internet hours.
- If apps remain sluggish, reinstall your Microsoft 365 suite.
