After sparing Songbird and handing her over to Reed and the NUSA, the credits will roll on the Phantom Liberty Night City Expansion, and upon returning to the game they will have the Who Wants to Live Forever quest. Completing this quest will lock players into The Tower ending. Alternatively, players can continue through Nocturne Op55N1 and choose to call Reed to activate the Phantom Liberty ending.

While there’s nothing romantic about River’s questline, it’s clear to see why V and River might bond the way that they do. After all, the case ahead of them is a sensitive subject, and V with River must discover the location of the kidnapped children of the notorious serial killer, Anthony Harris, AKA, Peter Pan. River informs V that he’s been let go from the NCPD, and his nephew, Randy, is one of his victims. Players will want to help River in any way that they can, proceeding through the quest until they meet Yawn Packard. When Dr. Packard asks for V’s input, be sure to select: Hasn’t let me down yet , to stick up for River. After leaving the building with River, head back to his car and have a conversation with him. Towards the end of the conversation, players are given a dialogue option that they will want to select: Sign me up for that beer .

Achievement: Temperance – Let Johnny Silverhand keep your body.
In order to obtain the Temperance ending, players must decide to get help from Panam, Rogue, or themselves with the (Don’t Fear) the Reaper ending to infiltrate Arasaka. Once inside the main mission, players need to reach Mikoshi, where they are faced with a pivotal choice. In order to unlock the Temperance ending, players must select the option to Cross the bridge and enter Cyberspace forever. This ending will see V become one with Alt Cunningham, while Johnny Silverhand gets a second chance at life in V’s body .
